Priv started two of the initial marketplace platforms in the beauty and wellness industry (beGlammed and Priv) in 2014, merged the companies in 2019, outlasted many of its competitors, survived Covid after having to shut down its services temporarily, and has grown its revenue 4x since 2020. Covid changed many things, among them consumer behavior being more centered around the home. With over 31 markets in the U.S., 2,500+ professionals, and 9 beauty and wellness services, Priv is perfectly positioned to take advantage of that shift in consumer behavior
With additional marketing resources, technological improvements, and improved customer engagement and loyalty, we expect to increase revenue 2-3x in our primary markets and 3-4x in our tier 2 markets. In addition to driving penetration in our current markets, we also will focus on boosting demand for our secondary services (massages, facials, ear piercing, spray tan, men’s grooming, and fitness), to complement our primary and more popular services (hair, makeup, and nails), through increased marketing as well as additional service offerings in those categories. We expect to increase revenue for those secondary services over the next 18 months 3-4x. During the next 12-24 months we also will focus on growing our B2B and Bridal businesses 3x revenue, including building partnerships with national retailers for in-store service offerings, and launching an e-commerce platform to sell third-party beauty and wellness products to our clients through our network of professionals.
